6th Annual Show-Me Showdown
September 8th - 10th, 2017 will be a weekend like no other. Missouri Rush is proud to invite you to participate in one of the largest youth soccer tournaments in the Midwest. We will have nearly 300 teams competing. We will have brackets for all skill levels based on birth years from 2010 to 1999. We pride ourselves on offering the best tournament experience around.
Birth Years 2008,’09, and ‘10 will play 7v7.
2006, and ‘07 will play 9v9
1999,’00,’01,’02, ‘03, ‘04 and ‘05 will play 11v11.
Multiple brackets will be offered in all age groups where we have at least 12 teams.
All 7v7: $650
All 9v9: $675
2004 and 2005: $750
2002 and 2003: $765
1999, ‘00, and ‘01: $780
We will offer brackets for boys and girls from 2010-2001. 2002-1999 will be only girls.
Games will be played at St. Louis Youth Soccer Association Complex and Mueller fields. They are located less than 1 mile apart in St. Charles, MO.
Games will be played September 8-10, 2017.
This tournament is a stay and play event.
Since CaptainU was founded in 2008, over 2 million high school athletes have used their platform to promote themselves to college programs. Currently, over 3,000 athletes commit to colleges each month using CaptainU. Their networking platform provides players and parents a tool to manage the college recruiting process and maximize their exposure to college coaches at the upcoming tournament.

Please double check your schedule. No changes will be made at this point without communication with all teams affected.
We will collect parking fees at the SLYSA complex. Parking passes will be $5 for a daily pass or $10 for a weekend pass. Players driving themselves only will not have to pay. All parents, friends, fans, and coaches will be required to purchase a parking pass. At times traffic can be a little slow getting in the complex (especially for the first games of the day) please allow a little extra time to get to your field. The lot near fields 12,16, and 17 usually has spots so please use it if you are on those fields.
As normal for a Rush tournament, we will have many vendors on site. We hope that all families will stick around after games and visit all the vendors. We will have tournament t shirts, soccer retail, kettle corn, snow cones, a video game area, a speed shot, funnel cakes, beer tents, soccer training aids, and more.
All awards will be presented on stage at SLYSA after the final games. All teams that are champions or finalists will get individual and team awards. Once you have played your last game all champions and finalists should make their way to the side of the stage where we will get teams set for the trophy presentation. All teams presented with awards will have time on stage for team photos. There will also be a tent to the side of the stage where individual photos can be taken.

6. Tournament App
We have a mobile app that will be used for this event. We are asking that all coaches download the app and encourage parents as well. It will be a good way for us to send notifications of changes should there be any. The instructions for download are:

IMPORTANT NOTE: The iOS version in a private app store. The process for downloading from the private app store is very similar to iTunes but it does require the end user to either Trust the publisher on their device. (Open Settings > Select General > Scroll down to "Device Management" and select > Select Bizness Apps Inc.> Click "Trust "Bizness Apps Inc (Ent)" > Click "Trust").
7. Dave and Busters Partnership
We are excited to announce a partnership with Dave and Busters. Dave & Buster's is the ultimate post game destination for the teams and volunteers involved with the tournament. With their delicious food and state of the art entertainment, we are certain they can keep the fun going long after the games end!
They do not take typical reservations so I would strongly recommend that groups book through their Special Events office. For groups of 15 or more, we do require a buffet and ask that everything be on one check. However, as a special offer to teams and volunteers involved with your tournament they will waive the room rentals and offer FREE Unlimited Video Game Play! The weather is supposed to be beautiful this weekend (sunny with highs in the low 80's and lows in the 50's) and we don't expect it to interfere with the tournament. Should that change, or anything else interfere with games we will communicate those changes in 4 ways.

9. Game Cards and team check in
All teams should have completed their online check in. Teams should have player cards and medical waivers at each game. Referees may check player cards at any point during the tournament.
After each game the winning team (or home team in the case of a draw) should bring the game card to the tournament office at SLYSA. It is across from the main concession stand (see the park map link above)
10. Communication during the event
If at any time during the event you have a question, comment, or concern the best way to have it handled is by coming in person to the tournament office. If that is not possible please email the firstname.lastname@example.org
